How We Started
Green Plus Pest Control Farm was founded by Mr. Sanjay Mhetre, an agriculture graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Pune Agricultural College (1998). With a strong foundation in agricultural science and a passion for sustainable solutions, he began his professional journey as a Garden Supervisor at Bharat Electronics.
Driven by an entrepreneurial vision, Mr. Mhetre established Green Plus in Pune in 2002 as a pilot project. Starting with a focus on effective cockroach control services, the company quickly gained customer trust through consistent results and high-quality service. Positive word-of-mouth and customer satisfaction became the backbone of our growth.
Within five years, the company expanded significantly, operating six offices across Pune with a team of 40 trained operators, along with supervisors and support staff. This growth was fueled by a commitment to delivering world-class pest control services at affordable Indian pricing.
Recognizing the need for safer solutions, Green Plus introduced its own product line, starting with Greenplus Cockroach Gel. Today, we offer over 40 organic products formulated using natural active ingredients like chilli, garlic, ginger, citronella, lemongrass, and basil oils—safe for humans, pets, and the environment.
